Mmonium sulfate, referred to as ammonium sulfate, also known as curium sulfate, has a chemical formula of (NH4)2SO4, is a colorless orthorhombic crystal, is easily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is acidic.
Ammonium sulfate is a kind of nitrogen fertilizer, but it must be applied together with lime on strongly acidic soil, and on soil with strong calcareous reaction, it must be covered with deep soil to reduce nitrogen loss; it can also be used as welding powder and fabric fireproofing agent.
